The following are the course information for Japan semester programs, students can study from 1 month up to 1 or 2 years.
Courses:
Students enroll either one of the following streams: Conversation Focused Course, General Intensive Course, Hiragana & Katakana Course.
All of these streams are Monday to Friday total 20 lessons per week. Zero beginner can either enroll in the zero beginner level of the Conversation Focused Course or Short Beginner’s Course. There are morning classes only, from 9:10am -12:40 pm. The class size is 5-15 students, with an average of 7-10.
The Conversation Focused course covers basic grammar, vocabulary, and Japanese culture & customs in order to improve your fluency. This course will enable you to speak with confidence. The levels for Japanese lessons are: Zero Beginner, Beginner, Upper Beginner and Intermediate I.
The General Intensive Course focuses on all four skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening) of the Japanese language . This course also prepares students for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) in order to attend a university or college in Japan. The levels for this course are: Beginner, Upper Beginner and Intermediate I, Intermediate II, Upper Intermediate, Advanced I, Advanced II and High Advanced. There is no zero beginner level for this one, but students can take the Short Beginner’s Course first.

The General Intensive focuses on all four skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening) of the Japanese language . Depends on your level, you will either take the morning classes (9:10am-12:40pm) or afternoon class ( 1:30pm-5:00pm). Class size is 12 to 20 students, with an average of 15.
Short Beginner’s Course: This course is for complete beginner (students may also attend the conversation focused stream at a beginner class instead). You will learn how to read and write hiragana / katakana as well as basic grammar with daily conversation. *After the course is completed, the student can transfer to the intensive course.

All Courses start non regular start dates: any Monday in a semester (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).
zero-beginner must start from regular start dates in the conversation focused stream.
Student arrival date for airport pickup (for a fee) is the Saturday right before the start date, student departure date is the Saturday right after the end date.
Deadlines:
Short term (for study less than 6 months): 2 months before the start date. It is possible to apply if less than 2 months before the start date, please contact us for availability.
Student Visa (for study more than 6 months): Due to the time required to apply for student visa, the deadline is 6 months prior to the start date. If you missed the deadline or if you are zero beginner, you may be able to start with a combination short term study and student visa study.

General Intensive Stream: 180,000 Yen/Term (10 contact weeks), or 18,000 Yen/week.
Conversation Focused Stream: 216,000 Yen/Term (12 contact weeks), or 18,000 Yen/week.
Short Beginners: 72,000 yen/4 week term
ACCOMMODATION FEES:
Homestay: 21,000 yen/Week;
Dormitory: 65,000-90,000 yen/month depends on locations and types.
Accommodation placement fee: 10,000 Yen

Textbook & maintenance fee: 10,000 Yen/term (each term 3 months).
Bank surcharge 4,000 Yen;

STUDENT VISA (LONG TERM STUDY) (for study more than 6 months)
TUITION FEE:
Students choose one of the following streams.
General Intensive stream: 640,000 YEN for one year (40 contact weeks).
Conversation focused stream: 768,000 YEN for one year (48 contact weeks).
ACCOMMODATION FEES:
Homestay: 21,000 yen/Week;
Dormitory: 60,000-100,000 yen/month depends on locations and types.
Accommodation placement fee: 10,000 Yen

Student visa processing & translation fee: 650 USD
Enrollment fee 60,000 yen;
Textbook & maintenance fee: 90,000 yen/year.
Bank surcharge 4,000 Yen;

Short term study process:
Generally no visa is required for many western countries, please check with us if you are not sure.
deadline: 60 days before the start date, it is possible to apply if less than 2 months before the start date, please contact us for space.
The student visa application process:
Submit online application form.
Required documents will be sent to you to fill in, and you send back all the documents to pre-review.
Once we checked them, you mail us the original copies of the documents, and pay the processing fee.
We will translate and confirm all your documents.
We will submit your documents to Immigration Japan.
Certificate of Eligibility will be issued by Immigration Japan.
Pay your tuition fee.
Admission Certificate will be sent after we received your fees.
Apply your visa to Japan.
Live:
Students can choose either homestay or school dormitory.
The homestay allows students to live with local warm-hearted Japanese family, it is a quick way to improve the Japanese language and learn the culture. Student has his or her own bedroom. Meals are provided by the host family; it includes breakfast and dinner for weekdays and 3 meals for the weekends. homestay fee is 21,000 yen/Week.
The school dormitory is an alternative style of living. It is a furnished bedroom. The kitchen and bathroom are shared among the students. Meals and utilities are NOT included. Fee from 65,000-90,000 yen/month depends on location.
Apartments are a little more expensive with extra privacy such as your own kitchen and bathroom. Fee is above 90,000 yen/month.
